You must be enrolled in and have paid your $25 Fat Bass Challenge monthly entry to earn any OAOY points that month. No FBC entry = ZERO points — regardless of anything else. No exceptions. No retroactive credits.
How Points Are Earned
OAOY points are earned across two categories each calendar month. Both categories require active FBC enrollment that month to count at all.
CATEGORY 1 — MONTHLY FBC ENTRY
Pay your $25 entry — points awarded automatically upon verified payment
Pay $25 Fat Bass Challenge Monthly Entry 500 pts
CATEGORY 2 — MONTHLY FBC FINISH — TOP 10 BONUS POINTS
Heaviest verified big bass submitted that month determines finish position

How It Works
STEP 1 - ENTER
Pay your $25 FBC entry each month. Unlocks your OAOY points. No entry = zero points that month, period. STEP
2 - FISH
Fish any sanctioned bass tournament listed on the FBC website. Catch your biggest bass and submit before the deadline.
STEP 3 - EARN
Points calculate automatically once your submission is verified. Leaderboard updates within 7 days of the end of the previous month.
STEP 4 - WIN
Most cumulative points at season end wins the Ozarks Angler of the Year title and full cash + sponsor prize package.
Anglers may submit multiple fish per month, but the fish must be caught in separate sanctioned tournament.
