By competing in the Fat Bass Challenge each angler is responsible for knowing all of the information below.
The Fat Bass Challenge maintains a list of approved and sanctioned tournament circuits (“Sanctioned Events”). To qualify as a sanctioned event, tournament officials must publish final results on their website and/or Facebook page detailing anglers’ total weights and Big Bass weight.
Anglers may submit qualifying fish only if the fish is caught during an officially sanctioned event listed by The Fat Bass Challenge at the time the event is held.
The list of Sanctioned Events is subject to addition, removal, or modification at the sole discretion of The Fat Bass Challenge, with or without prior notice.
All fish weights submitted to The Fat Bass Challenge must be verified through the official tournament results of the applicable sanctioned event. The Fat Bass Challenge will rely exclusively on the official weight recorded and published by the tournament organization or tournament director.
Under no circumstances will participant-reported weights, photographs, scale readings, or unofficial documentation be accepted in place of official tournament results.
If official tournament results are not publicly published, The Fat Bass Challenge reserves the right to:
-Contact the tournament director directly to obtain official results; and/or
-Require the participating angler to contact the tournament director to request confirmation of official results.
Failure to obtain official verification may result in the submission being deemed ineligible.
The Fat Bass Challenge leaderboard is based solely and exclusively on verified official tournament results. The leaderboard will not reflect provisional, estimated, disputed, or unofficial weights.
The Fat Bass Challenge reserves the right to update, correct, or remove leaderboard entries at any time to reflect verified official data.
To be eligible for any given month’s leaderboard or prizes, participants must have completed paid registration for The Fat Bass Challenge prior to the first (1st) day of the calendar month in which the sanctioned event occurs.
Late registrations will not be retroactively applied to prior events or submissions. Example if you submit payment on March 1, you would be entered into the April challenge.
Participants are solely responsible for:
Registering and remaining in good standing with the sanctioned tournament organization
Complying with all tournament rules, regulations, and deadlines
Ensuring their results are properly recorded by the tournament director
Disqualification or rule violations within a sanctioned event automatically render the submission ineligible for The Fat Bass Challenge
The Fat Bass Challenge is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or responsible for the administration of any sanctioned tournament circuit unless explicitly stated in writing.
All determinations regarding eligibility, verification, leaderboard placement, and prize awards are made at the sole discretion of The Fat Bass Challenge and are final.
All qualifying catches must be recorded during official hours of a Fat Bass Challenge–approved Sanctioned Event and verified exclusively through the event’s official tournament results. Only weights published or confirmed by the tournament organization or tournament director will be accepted. To be eligible for a given month’s leaderboard, the official results must be available by the end of the calendar month; however, if a sanctioned tournament concludes on the final day of the month, a one-time grace period of up to twenty-four (24) hours is permitted solely to allow for the publication and verification of official results. All eligibility determinations and leaderboard placements are made at the sole discretion of the Fat Bass Challenge and are final.
Incorrect Submission:
If an angler accidentally enters an incorrect weight but, upon verification with the official tournament results, the fish remains the largest of the month, The Fat Bass Challenge will correct the recorded weight and the angler will remain eligible to receive the prize.
